Prospective Queer Parents Email List
The Prospective Queer Parents (pqp) mailing list is an Internet mailing list for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and other supportive people interested in discussing issues related to alternative parenting and childraising. The pqp email list, started in January 1997, is associated with an organization called Prospective Queer Parents in the San Francisco Bay Area, founded in December 1991.
To subscribe to the pqp email list, send an email to pqp-subscribe@groups.queernet.org
If you are subscribing an email address different from the one you are using to send the request, send an email to majordomo@groups.queernet.org
The first (not subject) line of the message should be

For example, if your other address is "jqpublic@anywhere.net" send
subscribe pqp jqpublic@anywhere.net
To make life easier for yourself, subscribe from the email address where you want to receive the Prospective Queer Parents email list and where you will be sending your postings. :-)
After sending the above subscription request you will then receive an automated reply with a request for you to confirm. Follow the instructions in that message, and send the reply back in to majordomo. Only after you send in the confirmation will the email list administrator receive your subscription request for approval. Once you have been added to the list you will receive an introduction to the email list, information about how to post messages and retrieve back issues and other administration information.
We hope to see you on the Prospective Queer Parents email list!
